Senator John Marty has been a lifelong champion of social and economic justice. I have known and worked with John for many years and have always appreciated his personal integrity. His deeply rooted values are evident in the way he offers real substance, not the typical political lip-service. I have seen it in his tireless work for healthcare for all and in his push to ensure safe and secure housing for everyone, especially the most vulnerable. John works with people who are voiceless in the political process, and in his own caring voice, speaks out with courage against the powers that oppress many of our neighbors. We need to keep John’s unique voice at the capitol.
